The HydroTechnic program is significantly more accurate than other design software programs whereby our system calculates the actual conditions within the pipework above and below every node point. This gives precise data whereby older design programs use an average result between two node points which will not match the actual worst case scenario.
Adaptable for Different Piping Systems
Our knowledge of the industry led to us incorporating the ability to design using any range of pipework material (if said material is able to withstand the rigours of a siphonic system). Outwith the North American market it is generally recognised that High Density Polyethylene (H.D.P.E.) is the most cost effective high performance pipework for siphonic systems. Our HydroTechnic software program for the uSA market enables design with non-proprietary USA sourced pipework such as Tyler Pipe Co. no-hub cast iron, Galvanized Steel, Stainless Steel or Schedule 40 solid wall PVC.
The flexibility built into HydroTechnic opens up specification choice for our clients. This ability is further enhanced as we are able to incorporate different pipework materials within a single rainwater pipe (each rainwater pipe being a single hydraulic calculation).
Superior Features
Features include fill time indicator to ensure the system will fill and prime within the prescribed period, listing structural loading weights, noting both maximum and minimum pressures, velocities etc.
Flexible
The flexibility is not just limited to the choice of materials. The designer could add to the system for example if underground drainage is required, alter or amend the system in a user friendly manner. One major benefit of HydroTechnic – again a market leading feature – is the software prints-out the fabrication drawings thus taking away the risk of human error whilst offering a huge time and cost saving in respect of the designer.
