Registered Users are issued with log-in names and passwords for access to the WADE-Hydrotechnic design program.
Prior to using the program, the Plumbing Engineer should calculate roof areas, assign inflow to each drains (multiply catchment area by rainfall rate) and determine pipe routing.
The Engineer will then draw the required pipe routing into the design program and add roof drains. The inflow to each roof drain is then input and the required pipe sizes analyzed.
Once the calculation is complete, you can edit the design to optimize the solution. This can be done in the drawing view (where the schemetic drawing is displayed) or in the data view which displays all the data of pipe dimensions, diameters and all hydraulic paramaters.
WADE-HydroTechnicTM clearly displays the summaries of the hydraulic paramaters on the display panel. Once you engineer a green PASS you are assured that all hydraulic requirements are met. If a red fail is displayed, the data view will identify in red where the paramaters are not met giving the engineer instant visual notice of where to amend the system to achieve overall compliance.
